Piazza Vittoria is in the center of Anacapri, ideal starting point for those wishing to explore Anacapri and the rest of the island. Just a few steps away from the Piazza, where the Bar Restaurant Due Pini is situated, at the end of a picturesque shop lined lane, one finds the Villa San Michele, once home to the famous Doctor and writer Axel Munte.

The Chairlift to Monte Solaro offers passengers a superb view over the island and the Gulfs of Naples and Salerno. From the Piazza, the pedestrian area through the historic center begins, leading to the Church of St Michele with its highly decorative Majolica paving, and the main Church of Anacapri, the Church of St Sofia.

From Piazza Vittoria or in the immediate vicinity, it is possible to take buses to the "Faro" Punta Carena Lighthouse and the "Grotta Azzurra" and catch buses and taxis to all the other localities on the island.
