History

Opened in 1950 as a family run bar offering the travelers of the era a little light refreshment under the shade of the century old pine trees and vineyards during the hot summer days, the Bar Due Pini has, over the years, served tourists from all over the world, many of International fame. Photos of the period testify to the peaceful ambience and the simple architectural style of Anacapri.

With the passing of time, and the subsequent social and cultural changes, along with the rapid development of the tourist industry, the little bar has been transformed into a sophisticated establishment, organized so as to offer high standards of service and the very best quality products.

Today, whilst proudly maintaining old traditions, Due Pini has evolved into a Bar-Restaurant, in the central Piazza Vittoria of Anacapri, meeting point for excursionists, tourists and those simply wishing to enjoy a few moments of relax over a typical Mediterranean meal, a cooling drink, or a classic cup of coffee.
